Global Conflict Intelligence Report
ConflictWatch is a real-time open-source intelligence platform designed to monitor, track, and analyze armed conflicts and geopolitical crises around the world. Our interactive dashboard aggregates data from leading international sources to provide a comprehensive overview of ongoing hostilities, humanitarian emergencies, and escalation risks across multiple continents.
Understanding the Current Global Security Landscape
The world is currently experiencing one of the highest levels of armed conflict since the end of the Cold War. ConflictWatch tracks these developments in real time, offering analysts, researchers, journalists, and concerned citizens a centralized platform for situational awareness. We focus on geolocated data to provide objective visualizations of global security trends.
Active conflict zones span multiple regions including Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. Each crisis carries unique dynamics involving territorial disputes, resource competition, and great power rivalries. Our automated monitoring system detects and categorizes threats by severity level based on the volume of geolocated news coverage: high-intensity active combat zones, medium-level insurgencies, and lower-intensity situations under observation for potential escalation.
How ConflictWatch Works
Our platform integrates data from the GDELT Project, which processes news articles in over 100 languages, and complements it with international RSS feeds and verified open-source intelligence (OSINT) reports. Each conflict zone is mapped with geographic coordinates and enriched with contextual metadata including involved parties and diplomatic developments.
Real-Time Monitoring
Continuous data ingestion ensures that our conflict assessments reflect the latest developments. News feeds update automatically, providing near-real-time situational awareness.
Multi-Source Intelligence
By combining data from GDELT and international media feeds, ConflictWatch provides a multi-dimensional view, reducing single-source bias in complex situations.
Severity Classification
Our three-tier severity system helps users prioritize their attention. Classifications are based on intensity of hostilities and escalation potential reported by global media.
Open Source Platform
ConflictWatch is built on open data principles. All information is sourced from publicly available datasets. We believe access to conflict intelligence should be transparent and accessible.
Editorial Responsibility & Content Policy

We strictly adhere to international standards of journalism and avoid the promotion of hate speech or incitement to violence.
